Requirements / Qualifications

1. Valid Illinois Professional Educator’s License; must be certified LBS1
2. Schedules will be determined by the number of students eligible for special education, grade levels and individual needs

Responsibilities

1. Provide support services to students with disabilities who are enrolled in the ESY program
2. Provide instruction at the appropriate level to meet the needs of the students served
3. Plan daily lesson plans
4. Participate in a program evaluation
5. Be at assigned area 15 minutes before students arrive and stay 15 minutes after students are dismissed
6. Attend one-day planning session
7. CPI certification preferred
8. Participate in daily meetings with the facility personnel
9. Perform other duties as assigned
