Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge base of secondary curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with all special education and general education staff.
• Work under the direction of the building principal.
• Provide instruction as determined by the students’ IEPs.
• Participate in the development of comprehensive Individual Education Plans.
• Provide consultation and training to teachers and parents.
• Provide information to parents regarding strategies for home support.
• Take responsibility for implementation of IEPs.
