Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary/Secondary Education, Human Services, or related field (or anticipated graduation).
• State Teaching Certification in Special Education (or eligible for alternate/licensure).
• Strong communication, empathy, team leadership, and trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver creative, student-centered lessons using thematic units.
• Lead the IEP process as Case Manager and track growth with progress reports.
• Guide classroom support staff to create a unified learning environment.
• Collaborate with clinical/behavioral teams to implement FBAs and BIPs.
• Adapt teaching strategies to meet evolving student needs with agency-approved approaches.
