Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field
• Currently licensed or pursuing IL PEL credential
• Currently licensed or pursuing IL SSE or LBS1 credential
• Experience with curriculum development, differentiation and instruction in alternative or special education settings
• Experience with IEPs and individualized education plans

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for elementary students with IEPs.
• Deliver targeted instruction using innovative curriculum resources and educational software.
• Plan comprehensive daily lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Collaborate in co-teaching environments to meet IEP goals.
• Implement PBIS strategies and classroom behavior supports.
• Track student progress and generate reports detailing achievements.
