Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead instruction for K-12 students with IEPs in a collaborative setting. You will design personalized learning experiences, integrate curriculum resources and technology, and plan schedules aligned with state standards.

The role emphasizes differentiating instruction, PBIS implementation, and maintaining detailed progress reports while supporting families and the school community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or special education or closely related field.
• Licensed CA SPED credential in process or active.
• Ability to obtain crisis management training.
• Experience with classroom management, differentiation, curriculum development, and personalized learning.
• Experience with IEPs and diverse student needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for K-12 students with IEPs in learning centers or classrooms.
• Deliver targeted instruction using innovative curricula and educational software.
• Create and implement detailed daily lesson plans aligned with standards.
• Maintain organized student progress records and reports.
