ChanceLight Behavioral Health, Therapy, & Education is seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead instruction for K–12 students with IEPs in our Spectrum Center Schools and Programs. Starting salary $70,000–$75,000/year plus a $2,000 annual education stipend, with growth based on experience and qualifications.

You will design adaptive lessons, utilize educational software, and collaborate in a PBIS-centered, inclusive learning environment to support diverse student needs and standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or related field.
• CA state education specialist credential (mild-mod or mod-severe).
• Ability to obtain crisis management training certification.
• Experience with classroom management, differentiated instruction and curriculum development.
• Experience with IEPs and special education services.
• Experience developing and implementing education plans for diverse needs.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with educational technology and Microsoft Office.

Responsabilités

• Lead instructional process for students in Grades K-12 with IEPs.

• Create detailed daily lesson plans aligned to standards.
