Zusammenfassung

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking an Instructional Aide to join our Special Education team and support students in grades K-12. You will collaborate with teachers to implement IEPs, provide individualized instruction, and help students reach their learning goals in a caring, structured environment.

You will assist with behavioral support, progress tracking, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality and aligning with school-wide standards.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent with basic skills test.
• Associate degree or higher in education or related field preferred.
• Valid CA driver's license or ability to obtain.
• Paraprofessional credential preferred in CA if applicable.
• Experience with supporting students in special education or behavioral health settings.
• Experience with autism spectrum disorders and related needs.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with teachers to create a supportive learning environment.
• Provide individualized instruction and behavioral interventions.
• Monitor students during lessons and ensure instructional fidelity.
• Track progress and communicate with teachers on student outcomes.
• Maintain confidentiality of student records and data.
• Assist with preparation of behavioral reports and logs.
• Communicate with families and staff regarding student needs and achievements.
• Support students in developing academic and social skills.
