Job summary

Spectrum Center Schools and Programs is seeking a Special Education Teacher to lead instruction for students in Grades K-12 with IEPs. You will design engaging, personalized lessons, integrate educational software, and collaborate in a learning-center and classroom settings.

Starting salary is $70,000–$75,000 per year, plus a $2,000 Annual Education Stipend. The role requires CA SPED credentials and a commitment to student growth in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in education or closely related field.
• Licensed CA education specialist credential (mild-mod or mod-severe) or in process.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional process for K-12 students with IEPs in learning center or classroom.
• Deliver targeted instruction and create lesson plans aligned to standards.
• Implement and reinforce PBIS strategies in classroom and school-wide settings.
• Maintain student progress records and generate reports on achievements.
• Collaborate in co-teaching environments to meet IEP goals.
• Adapt curriculum and differentiate instruction for diverse learners.
• Prepare detailed daily lesson plans and organize instructional materials.
