Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a North Carolina Professional Educator’s License in an Exceptional Children’s teaching area.
• First Aid and CPR certifications are preferred.
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs for students with disabilities.
• Use various instructional strategies and progress monitoring tools.
• Monitor student behavior and maintain discipline.
