Job summary

Dallas School District is accepting applications for a full-time Special Education Teacher at Oakdale Heights Elementary School in Oregon. The role requires a current Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement and experience in developing IEPs and Behavior Support Plans.

The teacher will collaborate with parents and staff to design and implement individualized instruction, monitor progress, and direct paraprofessionals to support students with diverse needs in multiple settings.

Qualifications

• Current Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Experience developing IEPs and Behavior Support Plans.
• Ability to manage IEPs for multiple students.
• Strong communication with parents, staff, and students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement SPED instruction tailored to individual students.
• Collaborate with parents and school team to create IEPs.
• Direct paraprofessionals in classroom settings across activities.
• Monitor student progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Participate in eligibility determination for students.
