Dallas School District is seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the DLC at Oakdale Heights Elementary School.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Oregon teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Knowledge of Professional Learning Communities preferred.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other team members to develop IEPs for each student.
• Experience managing IEPs and Behavior Support Plans.
• Participates in the eligibility process for individual students.
• Ability to manage individual student needs in multiple academic settings.
• Experience providing specially designed instruction for social-emotional/behavioral learning.
• Assess student achievement on an ongoing basis.
• Ability to direct paraprofessionals in various student settings.
• Ability to design and implement individual and small group instruction in a functional academic setting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must obtain SPED license within 2 years.
• Signing bonus and SPED stipend available.
