Responsibilities

• Plan and provide learning experiences based on the district's AKS curriculum.
• Demonstrate command of the subject being taught and provide direct instruction.
• Develop and prioritize instructional objectives; assess and plan for mastery.
• Administer screening and diagnostic assessments and communicate results to parents and teachers.
• Organize content and present in logical sequence with anticipatory sets and guided practice.
• Incorporate technology and varied representations to enhance learning.
• Monitor progress and provide formative and summative assessment feedback.
• Maintain an orderly classroom environment and effective behavior management.
