Job summary

Central CUSD #4 is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to serve students in 9th-12th grade. This resource position may include co-teaching within general education classrooms to support inclusive practices and meet the diverse needs of our learners.

The role focuses on individualized instruction, collaboration with general educators, progress monitoring, and effective communication with families and staff to support a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement required.
• Experience working with elementary students in a special education setting preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
