Applicants must be skilled in working with student accommodations, classroom, and behavior management, developing lesson plans for diverse needs, and differentiating instruction based on students' unique communication and cognitive needs. Effective communication and strong collaboration skills with other professionals are essential to this position. We seek candidates who will engage our students through technology using 21st‑century skills. Well‑qualified applicants will have the ability to plan rigorous and relevant lessons while building rapport with students and their families.

Qualifications

• A valid Illinois Professional Educator License with the LBS1 Endorsement.
• Elementary Education endorsement (desired but not necessary).
• Other relevant content area endorsement (desired but not necessary).
• Candidates with multiple endorsements will be given strong consideration, as these additional qualifications may enhance our ability to serve our student population.

Salary & Benefits

Per the current salary agreement; Health insurance is covered for the employee at 90% for single and family coverage at 70%; $25,000 life insurance.
