Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Special Education Teacher role located in Champaign, IL. The Special Education Teacher will design and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), deliver differentiated instruction, and provide accommodations and modifications to meet diverse learning needs. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, collecting data, and collaborating with general education teachers, related service providers, and families to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development. The role involves managing classroom behavior, creating inclusive learning environments, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations. The teacher will also participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives that promote equity and student success.
