Acceleration Academies in Florida is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve as the primary instructional resource for Graduation Candidates, delivering competency-based content and guiding students toward graduation and post-secondary success. You’ll collaborate with a team to provide academic, social-emotional, and career-oriented support that empowers each learner’s journey.

You’ll monitor attendance, progress, and well-being, conduct assessments, and tailor instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters preferred.
• Florida 6-12 educator’s license with a secondary ESE endorsement (REQUIRED).
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on inclusivity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver competency-based content and personalized learning.
• Support personalized Learning Plans and guide students toward graduation and post-secondary success.
• Monitor attendance, progress, and well-being; ensure engagement and mastery of material.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments to inform instruction.
