This on-site role at 4030 Reading Road offers collaboration with a supportive team, licensure pathways in Ohio, and a strong emphasis on equity, personalized learning, and post-secondary success for at-risk youth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Masters' preferred.
• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Intensive) ideal and makes you immediately placeable.
• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with inclusivity and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Support new student enrollment by engaging in recruitment and outreach.
• Create Personalized Learning Plans tailored to each student's needs and goals.
• Advise students and families; monitor attendance, progress and well-being.
• Deliver subject-specific instruction in individual and group settings.
• Conduct formative and summative assessments to evaluate progress and adjust methods.
• Analyze data to inform instructional decisions and enhance outcomes.
• Support IEPs and ELL accommodations; participate in meetings.
• Contribute to academy initiatives, professional development and events.
