Acceleration Academies’ Cincinnati Acceleration Academy is seeking a Special Education Teacher to serve Graduation Candidates, delivering competency-based content and guiding students toward graduation and post‑secondary success.

You'll collaborate with a team to provide academic, social‑emotional, and career-oriented support, with emphasis on IEP/ELL accommodations, data-informed instruction, and remediation for at‑risk youth. Degree and Ohio licensure pathways apply.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of teaching experience (high school preferred).
• Active Ohio Intervention Specialist license or licensure transfer preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organization; focus on inclusivity and equity.

Responsibilities

• Support new student enrollment and outreach efforts.
• Create Personalized Learning Plans for each student.
• Advise assigned students and coordinate with support teams.
• Monitor attendance, progress, and well‑being to sustain engagement.
• Plan and deliver instruction in individual and group settings; adjust as needed.
• Administer formative and summative assessments and use results to guide instruction.
• Understand and document IEPs and ELL accommodations; participate in related meetings.
• Contribute to academy initiatives, PD workshops, and school events.
