Ampersand Therapy in Coon Rapids, MN is hiring Setting 4 Special Education Teachers for the 2026-2027 school year to support elementary, middle, and high school caseloads in a high-needs setting.

This in-person, full-time role requires a Tier 3 or 4 Minnesota SPED license, successful background check, and ongoing collaboration with families and school teams to implement IEP goals and therapy plans.

Competitive pay at $52–$55 per hour plus benefits and mentorship from seasoned professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Education or Related Field.
• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB (Tier 3 or 4).
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Previous classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
