Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Brooklyn Center, MN. This is a full-time, in-person position (40 hours/week) offering pay of $55-60/hour.

The role involves creating an inclusive classroom, developing IEP goals, and collaborating with school teams and families. Required: Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Education or related field, Minnesota Special Education license through PELSB, and 3 references.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license through PELSB.
• 3 references/letters of recommendation required.
• Previous classroom experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
