Job summary

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Resource Special Education Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year in Savage, MN. This in-person, full-time role serves 1st and 2nd grade students with IEP goals in a supportive, therapist-led team.

You will collaborate with teachers and families, develop and implement therapy plans, and maintain accurate progress notes, with ongoing mentorship and support from school-based professionals.

Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Special Education Teacher license (PELSB) Tier 3 or 4.
• Background check and drug screening required.
• In-person, full-time position for 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Create an inclusive classroom setting for all learners.
• Develop and implement IEP goals and therapy plans.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams.
• Partner with teachers and families to support carryover of skills.
• Maintain timely documentation, progress notes, and compliance records.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
