Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• One of: AA degree, or 48 college credits/72 quarter credits, or pass paraeducator assessment.
• Proficient in basic spelling, math and grammar.
• Experience or training in reading instruction and assessment.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or groups under the teacher’s direction.
• Assist with instructional and behavioral programs when trained.
• Communicate with staff and supervise students per policy.
• Plan daily/weekly with teachers servicing the same students.
• Maintain records and assist with classroom communications.
