Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor students throughout the school day in accordance with district policies.
• Communicate safety concerns to the principal and address safety violations.
• Help students problem solve and resolve conflicts.
• Report safety hazards on campus to main office.
• Assist with opening food items, cleaning spills, and maintaining student areas.
• Follow protocol when assisting injured students.
• Establish an environment for appropriate behavior and redirect inappropriate behavior.
• Tutor individuals or groups in specific skills as directed by the teacher.
• Assist with instructional/behavioral programs and communicate with staff and parents.
• Plan daily/weekly activities with teachers servicing the same students.
