Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent and/or approved alternative credentials.
• Experience or training in paraeducator roles preferred.
• Ability to follow individualized education program (IEP) objectives and work under supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervision, care, and instruction of students with special needs.
• Implement instructional plans and monitor student behavior.
• Attend IEP meetings and communicate progress to teachers and parents.
• Support in various school settings (general and self-contained classrooms).
• Maintain records and prepare materials as directed by teachers.
