Qualifications

• Familiar with IDEA, NCLB, and WRESA compliance rules.
• Meet all applicable state certification requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare paperwork for initials and annuals IEPs with parents and IEP team.
• Design instruction for individual and small groups aligned to general education.
• Articulate curriculum between student levels.
• Collaborate with general education staff on IEP modifications and accommodations.
• Monitor student progress quarterly.
• Review and revise IEP as appropriate.
• Assist RTI team with remediation and evaluation.
• Maintain student data, records, and monthly reports.
• Maintain attendance records.
• Ensure timeliness of special education requirements.
• Participate in staff development.
• Other duties as assigned.
