You will develop, implement, and monitor IEPs, collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families, and maintain progress documentation while adapting instruction to meet individual student needs in an inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• Active Michigan Special Education Teaching Certification required.
• Endorsements in EI and LD required.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Previous school-based experience preferred.
• Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and academic support to students in a resource room setting.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families.
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate documentation of goals and objectives.
• Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet individual student needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
