Job summary

Academy District 20 seeks a SpEd Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide consultation or direct service focused on social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students. Under BCBA supervision, you will conduct functional assessments, collect data, and implement ABA-based interventions to support academic and social growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration with district staff and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; RBT certification preferred.
• Experience with students with disabilities and knowledge of ABA principles.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Reports for work as scheduled and performs duties as assigned.
• Assists teams in conducting functional behavioral assessments; monitors progress and uses data to drive outcomes.
• Records data for behavioral training protocols and summarizes observable behavior.
• Communicates with school staff under BCBA direction.
• Develops and supports behavior intervention plans and ABA-based strategies.
• Provides resources and materials for staff using evidence-based ABA methods.
