Job summary

Academy District 20 in Colorado Springs is seeking a SpEd Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide direct services and consultation for students with behavioral and social needs. The role focuses on applying ABA-informed strategies to improve academic performance and social competence in PK-21 environments.

The candidate will collect data, follow established protocols, and contribute to professional development for district staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
• Experience with children who have disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation or direct services to students to address behavior affecting learning and social development.
• Record and monitor progress data using ABA-based protocols.
• Collaborate with BCBA and school staff to implement behavior plans.
• Support district staff through training on behavioral supports and interventions.
