WORTH COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT in Kenilworth, NJ, seeks a Special Education Pre-School Classroom Aide for Harding Elementary School. The position is part-time, Monday through Friday 8:30–1:30, for the 2026-2027 school year. Required High School diploma or equivalent, background check and proof of U.S.

citizenship or legal resident status. Willingness to assist students with learning activities, personal care, and toileting; collaborate with staff; ABA knowledge and RBT certification preferred;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident status.
• Willingness to actively assist special education students in learning activities, personal care, and toileting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with appropriate building staff.
• Experience working with students with behavioral/learning needs and/or previous experience as an aide with behavioral support.
• Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) preferred.
• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification plus.
• Bilingual- Spanish speaking ability desired.
