Job summary

Centennial School District ISD12 is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with disabilities under the supervision of a licensed teacher. The role includes implementing IEPs, promoting independence, and keeping a safe, productive learning environment at Centerville Elementary.

You will supervise students during transitions, reinforce academics, assist with ADLs, and collaborate with related service providers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Two years of college credits (60 credits) or an associate's degree or higher.
• Passing score on ParaPro or Paraeducator Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students indoors and outdoors during transitions, lunch, and activities.
• Reinforce academic skills with individuals or small groups under a licensed teacher.
• Assist with ADLs including eating, transferring, mobility, toileting, dressing, hygiene.
• Implement behavior plans and data collection for IEP goals.
• Collaborate with case manager, teachers, PT/OT/SLP, nurses and others.
• Complete Third Party Billing docs as required and trained.
• Participate in professional development and meetings.
