Job summary

Educational Service Center of Central Ohio is seeking a paraprofessional to support student safety, growth, and learning under the direction of an Intervention Specialist. The role involves implementing parts of students' IEPs, delivering individual and group instruction, and assisting with instructional materials and data collection.

The position offers 7 hours per day across the school year, with 181 instructional days and 8 paid holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and either an Associate's degree or a passing score on the Paraprofessional assessment.
• Preferred qualifications include experience working with children and crisis de-escalation certification.

Responsibilities

• Support student safety, growth, and learning under the Intervention Specialist.
• Implement components of students' IEPs and provide individual/group instruction.
• Utilize de-escalation strategies and assist with instructional materials.
• Collect and record student data as part of instructional planning and progress monitoring.
