Livonia Public Schools is seeking multiple highly qualified Special Education Paraprofessionals who support student needs, including learning and behavior, small group work, and basic medical assistance. The role involves lunch and bus duties and collaboration with teachers and staff.

The paraprofessional follows IEPs and Behavior Plans, collects data, assists with interventions, and helps students across various settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with alternate testing options.
• Two years of college study or higher preferred.
• Passion for working with students and ability to collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive relationships with students and staff.
• Support students individually or in groups in various settings.
• Collect data for IEP/Behavior Plans and assist with interventions.
• Follow IEPs and Behavior Plans; assist with medical, lunch and bus duties as needed.
• Communicate progress to teachers and administration.
