Job summary

The role involves preparing materials, supervising students on field trips, and performing clerical tasks as needed. Requires a high school diploma or GED; college credits preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college or other advanced education preferred.
• Experience or ability with special needs students preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education teachers in the program and IEP implementation.
• Prepare and modify instructional materials and presentations for students.
• Provide individualized or small-group support and tutoring as needed.
• Supervise and support students during classroom and related activities.
• Assist with classroom management, recording, and safety duties.
• Help maintain a clean, organized classroom and prepare bulletin boards.
