Job summary

Dysart Unified School District is seeking a paraprofessional to assist a Special Education Teacher with IEPs and specialized programs. You will help students with disabilities in the classroom and in general education settings, following lesson plans and maintaining confidentiality.

The role requires a high school diploma (AA or credits/exam preferred) and CPR/First Aid and IVP fingerprint clearance. Expect onsite work in a school environment with routine professional development.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with additional college credits or equivalent Dysart-approved exam.
• Ability to handle confidential information per FERPA with discretion and integrity.
• Proficiency in basic computer and office software for classroom support.

Responsibilities

• Assist Special Education Teacher with specialized programs and IEP implementation.
• Support students in general education curriculum on a continuum of services.
• Maintain records and prepare instructional materials as directed.
• Attend district professional development classes and adhere to district policies.
