Job summary

Requirements include a GaPSC Paraprofessional License, associate degree or higher or passing the GACE Paraprofessional Assessment, and the ability to supervise students safely in emergencies. 190-day annual schedule and on-site duties.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia Paraprofessional License.
• Associate degree or higher or pass GACE Paraprofessional Assessment.
• Pass a high school diploma or HSE if not eligible by degree.
• Strong confidentiality, listening, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide small group or individual instruction to students with disabilities.
• Assist with classroom management for an effective learning environment.
• Assist with assessment and record-keeping tasks.
• Prepare instructional materials and ensure availability before sessions.
• Perform clerical tasks as required and support teachers.
