Zanewood Community School in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, is hiring an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (HQ) on a temporary, part-time basis. The role supports the special education teacher, assists with individual or small-group instruction, and helps implement behavioral and instructional plans.

The position requires HQ by start date or alternative qualifications (two years of college, an associate degree, or ParaPro/ParaEducator credentials).

Qualifications

• HQ requirement to work as a special education paraprofessional (Minnesota)
• Ability to work with children, staff and parents
• Physical capability to assist with students' needs

Responsabilités

• Assist in implementing students' special education instructional plans and behavioral management.
• Support implementation of individual plans in all program settings.
• Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher.
• Prepare, collect, and maintain educational materials and equipment.
• Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as required.
• Complete educational forms and student data per guidance.
• Participate in district training programs.
