Job summary

Maple Grove Senior High, part of Osseo Area Schools, seeks an Educational Support Professional - Special Education (HQ). You will support students and assist the special education teacher in daily classroom functions, working with individuals or small groups.

Schedule is 6 hours per day, M-F 7:15 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. on student contact days. The role requires HQ by start date and offers meaningful work, growth opportunities and benefits through the district.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• HQ required by start date per Minnesota Department of Education
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education (min 60 credits) or associate degree or higher
• District will pay for the assessment

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing individual education plans including physical and behavioral management
• Assist in implementing and following through of students' individual plans
• Collect observational data and report to supervising teacher
• Prepare, collect and maintain educational materials and equipment
• Attend staffings, conferences and other meetings as requested
• Complete educational forms and student data as directed by teacher
• Perform other duties deemed necessary by the team and supervisor
