Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a paraprofessional to support classroom instruction for K-12 students with diverse needs.

You will work with a teacher to deliver small-group and one-on-one support, monitor student progress, and reinforce learning using SESI's PBIS framework CASE. This position offers hands-on experience within a nationwide network of SESI schools, plus paid training and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI's academic rotational model.
• Provide customized behavior and academic support and conduct assessments.
• Reinforce learning with assigned tasks and use data to select materials.
• Assist the teacher with large group activities, grading, and monitoring progress.
• Utilize behavior support and intervention strategies.
• Implement de-escalation techniques and safety measures as needed.
• Support daily plans and document student growth toward goals.
• Supervise students and coordinate with staff to address needs.
