Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional to support students with diverse needs in a center-based setting at Five Hawks Elementary. They will assist with instructional activities, observations, data logs, and materials preparation under the supervision of special education staff.

The role emphasizes confidentiality, safety, and collaborative communication with teachers, administrators, and families, with hours aligned to the school day and relevant CB agreements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's Degree or higher or 60 college credits.
• ParaEducator/ParaPro exam required or passed within 30 days of hire.
• Lifelong confidentiality and FERPA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor students in classrooms, hallways, and cafeterias to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Provide assistance to teaching staff by observing, logging data, and preparing instructional materials.
• Assist with implementing student programs, IEP accommodations, or behavior plans as directed.
