Applitrack seeks a Special Education Paraprofessional at Prior Lake High School to support students, assist with instructional activities, monitor behavior, and ensure a safe learning environment across classrooms and common areas.

The role requires assisting with IEP accommodations, personal care as needed, maintaining confidentiality, and collaborating with teachers and staff; HS diploma or GED and ParaEducator credentials preferred; non-exempt, immediate start.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree or higher preferred.
• 60 college credits minimum or completion of ParaEducator/ParaPro exam.
• If not meeting criteria, must pass ParaEducator exam within 30 days of hire.
• Continued employment contingent on licenses/certificates maintained.

Aufgaben

• Support and monitor students in classrooms, halls, lunch areas, and transitions to ensure a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Conduct observations, maintain student data logs, and prepare instructional materials for staff.
• Assist with implementing IEP accommodations and behavior plans as directed by special education staff.
• Provide personal care assistance as needed while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Communicate effectively with supervising teachers, staff, and administrators about student progress or concerns.
