Qualifications

• PCA certification must be completed within 30 days of start date.
• 60 sem credits or 90 qtr credits or an associate degree or pass ParaEducator/ParaPro exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with disabilities in various settings (mainstream, resource room or center base).
• Manage behavior by redirecting, calming or removing disruptive students.
• Monitor and record student progress in academics, daily living skills, dressing, grooming and social skills.
• Assist with physical needs including toileting, feeding, dressing, lifting and positioning.
