Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; PCA cert due within 30 days.
• 60 sem/90 quarter credits or an associate degree or ParaEducator/ParaPro exam.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and recordkeeping abilities.
• Tech-savvy with comfort using computers and school software.
• Ability to supervise students and maintain regular attendance.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with disabilities in various settings.
• Manage behavior by redirecting or removing disruptive students.
• Monitor and record student progress in academics and daily living skills.
• Assist with physical needs including toileting, feeding and mobility as required.
