Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent. Personal Care Assistant certification required within 30 days of start.
• 60 semester/90 quarter credits or associate degree, or passed ParaEducator/ParaPro exam with documentation.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and recordkeeping skills; ability to work with technology and computers.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with disabilities in various settings. Manage behavior and redirect disruptive students.
• Monitor and record student progress in academics, daily living skills, social skills, etc.
• Assist with physical needs and mobility, including toileting, feeding, lifting, positioning and transporting students.
