Job summary

Sylvania is seeking a Paraeducator Special Education to support students with disabilities in mainstream, resource room, or center-based settings. You will assist instruction, monitor progress, and help with daily living activities while maintaining a safe, inclusive environment.

This full-time position (184 days/6.5 hrs/day) starts after a posting period, with multiple locations listed and a rate of pay described publicly. Insurance benefits are available for positions of 6+ hours per day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Personal Care Assistant certification must be completed within 30 days of start date.
• Ability to work with technology and computers and maintain regular attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction of students with disabilities in various settings.
• Monitor and record student progress in academics, daily living, and social skills.
• Manage physical needs and support students in activities of daily living.
