Responsibilities

• Develop positive, professional relationships with students to build trust.
• Provide secondary instructional support under teacher supervision.
• Work with students individually or in groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist in designing strategies to reinforce material based on student needs.
• Prepare materials for specialized instructional activities.
• Observe and utilize techniques used by special education staff.
• Assist in data collection per IEP goals.
• Support mobility and other physical needs as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with teachers on assessments linked to standards.
• Attend professional development and training as assigned.
