Job summary

The West Valley School District #363 is seeking a Paraeducator - Designed Instruction at Seth Woodard Elementary in Spokane Valley, WA. The role focuses on evidence-based student support within an MTSS framework and requires collaboration with staff to reinforce learning goals.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; AND one of: Associate Arts or higher; 72 quarter credits (48 semester credits) or pass an academically rigorous assessment.
• Ability to develop positive relationships with staff, students and families.
• Familiarity with MTSS and providing evidence-based student support.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive, professional relationships with students and build trust.
• Provide instructional support in the classroom under supervision.
• Assist with individualized or group instruction to reinforce learning.
• Follow protocols for reporting student incidents and maintain confidentiality.
• Collaborate with teachers on assessments linked to standards.
