Qualifications

• Valid Washington State teaching certificate.
• Completion of all required district trainings; background clearance.
• Special Education endorsement required for this position.

Responsibilities

• Develops and plans a program of study meeting student needs with effective instruction.
• Assess student growth and provide progress reports; assign grades.
• Implement district policies; manage classroom behavior and school program planning.
• Prepare differentiated lesson plans and learning targets; align materials to goals.
• Establish communication with families and staff; conduct conferences as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and use data to guide instruction.
• Supervise students and ensure safety during school activities.
