Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year in Longview, Washington. This full-time position provides specialized instruction and support to middle school students with various disabilities, aiming to enhance academic, social, and behavioral success.

You will join a collaborative team dedicated to individualized instruction, evidence-based practices, and strong partnerships with families and school staff, with regular IEP focus and MDT

Qualifications

• Requires valid Washington State Special Education Teacher Certification.
• Experience with middle school students preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of IEP development and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction aligned with IEP goals and state standards.
• Develop, implement, monitor IEPs.
• Collaborate with families, service providers, administrators, and general education staff.
• Implement evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions.
• Support students' academic, social-emotional, and functional skills.
• Collect progress data and maintain records.
• Participate in IEP meetings and MDT collaboration.
• Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment.
