Job summary

Summit Academy is seeking an Intervention Specialist to provide specially designed instruction aligned with students’ IEPs. You will collaborate with teachers and service providers to establish measurable goals and appropriate accommodations, ensuring growth across academic and personal development.

Responsibilities include developing IEP objectives, completing progress reports, and participating in IEP/IAT meetings while maintaining professional classroom standards and PBIS practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and licensure.
• Valid Ohio teaching certificate or license.
• Criminal background clearance required.
• Knowledge of Ohio Learning Standards and curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide specially designed instruction per IEPs.
• Develop measurable IEP goals with teachers and service providers.
• Attend IEP/IAT meetings as requested.
• Prepare IEP Progress Reports and document student progress.
