Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in Co-Teaching in a Resource Room model.
• Comfortable in a growth-focused coaching environment.
• Ability to communicate regularly with families regarding student growth.

Responsibilities

• Support educational and behavioral goals of students.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for instruction.
• Write and implement behavior improvement plans.
• Facilitate IEP Meetings and write IEP goals.
• Work cooperatively with classroom teachers.

Skills

Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards

High quality written and verbal communication skills

Excellent organization and time management skills

Ability to work independently and contribute to a team

Education

Experience working in a full room inclusion type model

Ability to pass federal and state criminal background checks

Experience working in a multi-cultural setting preferred

Tools

Microsoft Office products including Word and Outlook
